Becoming A Member
There are many reasons to join the Incorporation of Weavers, not only will you be contributing to the preservation of this important part of Glasgow’s history, you will also be able to actively engage with and shape the Weavers future role within the city through its various charitable works.
Further to this it is a chance to meet and engage with other likeminded individuals during our various events throughout the year, forging lasting friendships. Finally all members of the Craft become Free People and Gild brothers/sisters of Glasgow entitling you to all the rights and privileges there of. (from your own cell in debtors prison, to grazing rights on Glasgow Green it is a handy thing to have!)
To become a member of the Incorporation of Weavers please send us a completed application form, and Burgess ticket application* or alternatively email our assistant clerk, Jackie, who will supply you with the relevant information and application forms.
